Assisted reproductive technologies (ART):

ART or assisted reproduction is a technical procedure that helps infertile couples conceive. Depending on the cause of infertility, our physicians recommend and implement appropriate programs of ART.

THE CYCLE OF ART
ART actual cycle consists of the following procedures:

1. Controlled ovarian stimulation:

The objective of this stage is to achieve a higher rate of pregnancy for which a woman's menstrual cycle is administered. Usually, a woman produces one mature egg during her menstrual cycle. In ART, we seek to initiate the production of multiple eggs so that multiple embryos are produced. Only the best of them will be inserted into the uterus. This is achieved with the help of special drugs called gonadotropins, which are administered by the use of the following plans or protocols:

a. The long protocol - the removal of the luteal phase of stimulation.

1. This is the protocol most commonly used in art. The patient is placed on the GnRH analogue (Lupride, Decapeptyl, Suprefact) subcutaneously, starting seven days before menstruation provided and continues throughout the menstrual cycle and thereafter for 12 more days. This medication may be administered daily in a predetermined dosage, with a disposable syringe with insulin.
Dosage: Half ml, equivalent to 20 units of insulin syringe, is given every day. Generally Suprefact bulb contains 6 ml of the drug. If a single shot Decapeptyl, Zoladex Depot or maybe Givens the 21st day of the previous cycle.
