wheelchair lift for car? My husband uses a wheelchair, and he died on his back and lifting out of the trunk each time we go somewhere if we feel we have added a lift to our car and I was wondering if anyone had any idea how much it cost? I found one for about $ 400, but I have no idea how someone in charge of putting it on. Are they welded a hitch on your car, and then weld it to the team or how does it work? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I do not know about the lifts but there are shelves wheelchairs available that meet a standard towing receiver. Approximately $ 120 for the receiver and about $ 50 to install. it is usually a simple bolt on installation. Call around a quote where you live.
