Me neither what you mean by "holiday" In America, we say holiday when referred to a holiday ... as Christmas or Labor Day, or the south in July. but I see people from other countries say "I'm on vacation" when people in the U.S. say that I'm on vacation.
I wonder if you want hotel? find a resort or hotel that is handicapped accessible is that the word "holiday" is translated as well?

I agree, it is difficult to find holiday accommodation suitable for disabled, disabled person I find that most people do not understand exactly what is needed to get into a place of friendly holiday disabilities. The site has been extremely useful www.disabledholidayshop.com. I hope this helps:)
