Skateboard Ramps

Skateboard Rampsskateboard ramps???

ok me (17) and my nephews (5 and almost 2) skateboard and I want to build a halfpipe ramp for us, but not totally sold on building one just because my nephew wants one.So should I build one and let him use it and gives it to him to learn to pass or should i wait and let him go at the skatepark every time it opens! Oh, and if I build an im sure it will be used by me at least once a day and my 2 years old nephew will probably use it and would like a good site for plans

You can build one, but I know that when the fall of GTO beginnin a half pipe you do not want to start from the top on the get go thats a good way to visit the hospital, any beginner a half-moon began from the middle and work their way back and forth down the pipe until they get good enough to get in one. Now pipe ahalf building is not easy according to the height you want, probably at least a level 5-6. it is not cheap either, if you have plans and then matieral adead and build, I made mine in a position to participate in case I wanted to sell, it can be taken into peices instead disasembling of everything. It would be a good experiance for you all to build one, it will make much use if people find out you have one, friends of friends want to check it, I know I have one in my backyard that gets used by others more than me. Good luck.

I build him a D, but do not drop in the moment

I build ramps, I think a lot of fun, but I make things is my hobby. But build it for you. If you like skating transitions, then go ahead. Do not worry your nephews. They could get out of skateboarding.

I made a quarter of 3ft10in stuff I found garbage per week. It costs only $ 14.10.

garbage per week.
i collected

A group of 2x4 framing.
kitchen counter for the transition.
PVC pipe adjustment
forklift to a pallet base
plywood for the lining.
and some parts of this council which is made from wood chips. for the bridge.

I had to buy about 4.5 inches and saw a little more than 2x4 from Home Depot, but fortunately they had the 2x6 scrap wood thing there. i got 7 pieces 6ft to 0.51 cents per piece.

A year and many falls of it later, did not need any alterations or ish like that either.

I try to download images to rampplans.org, but my camera busted.
