Prefilled Insulin Syringes

Hello everyone. I was injecting my own testosterone (deep IM) for over a year without any problems, but in the last month, I began another med (no insulin) is taken in-1mL skin, 3 times a day. The only problem is that often when I take my hand, I find many of these leaks med with it. (It does not leak after, only when I first remove the needle.)

I am a big guy, so I have a lot of fabric for it to fill in. The idea that I could have with the needle is the right size - I use 1/2-inch X 27G, what pharmacy has given me since my doctor does not specify a size. (Oh, and they are pre-filled syringes.)

A longer needle would probably help. In addition, you can stretch the skin and release a bit faster when you remove the needle. This can erase the tracks of the needle.

One thing you probably should not do is leave a small bubble of air in the syringe. In some cases, the small amount of medication normally left in the hub of the syringe and needle might produce an overdose when she was injected.
