Mobility Walking Frames

Mobility Walking FramesMy grandmother needs a walker and some adaptations of housing due to low mobility. How can we get?

she should see a doctor? what happens next? someone will come to the house and to evaluate?

Go to your doctor, discuss the situation, get the prescription for the aid needed as a walker, go to the medical supply store, give them an order, to Walker and everything, go home, use it.

I think you go to social services for assistance.

Your doctor will refer you to the service that takes care of that.

Yes go to his doctor and get them to organize. They will send someone to the house to evaluate it.

If you are in the United States, each State has a site for the Department of Aging. For example, I live in Illinois, and this is our site - http://www.state.il.us/aging/

There are tons of resources here to help you find what you need to get the equipment and pay for it.

Maybe your doctor can recommend. There should be a shop near the mobile home, check Yellow Pages

Contact Social Services. They solve this problem.
