Is it possible to replace the advice of carbide Leki poles racing snow, no walking sticks? Have you tried asking Leki?

I just want to know how the F you wore spikes down on ski poles?!?! I saw advice Trekking poles were slaughtered all to hell after 500 miles on the AT ... but ski pole tips?!?!
Personally, I think you might have screwed the pooch on this. I do not know if they were designed to be replaced (at least not outside of a store or by Leki themselves.)
