King Size Canopy Bedroom Sets

King Size Canopy Bedroom SetsDo you have a hard time letting go of old furniture?

I have a King size canopy bed (frame and dark wood), with lighting and mirrors on the ceiling "part of the canopy is a nice bed, but I had this bed for over 12 years. He now has a brand war, needs a repair or two very small, can be painted / polished and must be assembled by persons of furniture if it can be a disaster if not properly assembled .

I have many years of memories in that bed, his beautiful when putting together, but with all the work it will take to ensure freshness and "new" again, I could get a brand new whole bedroom. I do not want to sell. part of me wants a brand new game room but I'm so tied to the bed, as his "unique" you can not find beds like it much.

only of you have trouble letting go of things that you've had for so many years? How can you get rid of this feeling?

Nothing says must be new STUFF!

If you like it, keep it. Do not feel bad about it, either. I really think that all the publicity that we constantly see that makes us feel as if we "have" to have new stuff.

ugh. what happens to me all the time. I had this awsome blue layer. (He was then 90's) but I liked it anyway. it was so comfortable. I could just go home and plop on it and was perfectly integrated in it. idk how to describe it. He eventually fell apart and I had to throw.

Tho ur bed sounds Nice. (Not a perverse way creeppy), but it looks like a nice piece of furniture. I think if u really like it that much, u could sand it down, finishing it Urself. this is not really hard. IVE done before. it can actually be fun, if you want this kind of thing.

but if u do, then just think like that, make new furniture is a new opportunity to make some new memories in it - if you KNO what I mean;)

My condolences to you. I had a car that gave me pleasure and memories, but eventually had to be "buried".
Perhaps an auction or sale within the house would find a nice home for her.
Spartawo ...

Wow, I cling to certain things in life but with furniture is not one of them. We spend a lot and build new homes for every time I get to introduce new furniture and mix the "old" or sell to new owners. It's fun and clean.
