Insulin Jet Injectors

Insulin Jet Injectorsinsulin injectors?

My son is 5 years old, type 1 and hate needles. I think the injector to try him.
I was just wondering if anyone has tried and what their experience has been?

I tried one some 15 years ago when my daughter was dxed.
It hurt a billion times worse than a gunshot.

I agree with the comment from above.
Try pump.It is really amazing.
Good luck.

Why not consider making him an insulin pump? In this way, instead of taking multiple shots every day, it was only a shot every three days (when the infusion set must be changed).

Me use one and love it. I can not ever see me return to metered-dose inhalers. Talk with your son's doctor about it or go to minimed.com for more information. Many young children use pumps ... even babies. They are wonderful and offer much more control than metered-dose inhalers.

EMT

"MDI" is synonymous with multiple daily injections.

Do you mean insulin pens? That's all we used to in recent years where I work. They are easy to use and portable when you are away from home. I am a nurse and give the shots so I can not tell you whether injured or not. Diabetics are elderly and they always say they do not even feel it.
