Emergency Medical Alert SystemsTed Kennedy: U.S. Senator Greatest of our time?

How many of you agree Teddy was really?

In 1964, despite having suffered serious injuries in an accident only plan, Ted Kennedy was on the floor of the Senate of the United States and gave an impassioned speech in an effort to convince Southern Democrats to end the 'filibuster of the Civil Rights Act, which was subsequently signed into law by President Johnson.

By 1965, Ted Kennedy has managed the passage of the Immigration and Nationality Act, which struck discriminatory immigration quotas that favored European immigration.

Ted Kennedy has amended the Voting Rights Act of 1965 to lower the voting age to 18. This laid the foundations of constitutional amendment 26 - lowering the voting age from 21-18 years.

Ted Kennedy has made the adoption of the revision of the 1971 Act of the National Cancer that gave the FDA broad authority to regulate the tobacco industry - by strengthening the National Cancer Institute.

Ted Kennedy championed the restoration of Wheels 1972 Act to assist those who can not prepare meals themselves.

Ted Kennedy has introduced the 1980 Civil Rights of Institutionalized Persons Act, which guarantees civil rights and liberties for people living in government run institutions (the mentally ill, elderly, and incarcerated, etc.)

In 1985, Ted Kennedy has introduced the anti-apartheid, which imposes economic sanctions against the racist regime of South Africa until they reformed. The law prohibits American investment in South African companies, and imports of goods SA. It was adopted by Congress despite a veto by President Reagan.

Ted Kennedy co-sponsored the 1997 State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), which now covers 10 million poor children uninsured Americans.

Ted Kennedy sponsored the Pension Protection Act of 2006 - it has strengthened the financial position of pension plans, enhanced taxpayer protection and transparency.

Oh, I forgot how Teddy pushed by the Federal Election Campaign Act Amendments of 1974 which limited individual donations to political campaigns and establish public financing of presidential elections.

Definitely!

Teddy Kennedy was a coward, he ran away and left a woman to die in a car. Poor Mary Jo Kopechne. Kennedy called the police the next morning. He was expelled twice for cheating on a test, and once for paying a classmate to cheat for him.

Do not waste your time. Republicans point the death of Mary Jo, who, is unfortunate and wrong, in their little minds eclipse any real good man has done in his life.

That's nonsense Republican you.

Ted Kennedy was a worthless piece of <bleep>. I put a lot of responsibility for where we are as a country economically, socially and politically, on his shoulders ..
