Dot Drug and Alcohol The Department of Transportation (DOT) has issued new rules for drugs and alcohol, for all employers and employees to transport sensitive transportation safety. This new regulation was designed to prevent accidents and property damage caused by the abuse of drugs and alcohol use by drivers. DOT has provided certain rules on how to conduct these tests, what is the testing process and to conduct these tests. These rules cover the employees of state and local authorities must have a driver's commercial driver license (CDL).
Education and training of drug testing
Each company must provide educational materials for their conductor, which explains the requirements and policies and drug testing regulations alcohol ingestion. According Sec.382.601 (b), educational material should include the following discussions.

As stated by the Ministry of Transport, companies should test for alcohol and drugs following five:
Marijuana · cocaine, opiates, amphetamines and phencyclidine (PCP).
Different tests require DOT
Under the rules of the Department of Transportation, drivers have to carry the drug and alcohol testing: testing pre-employment, reasonable suspicion testing, post-accident testing and random testing.
