Bath Seats For Elderly

Bath Seats For ElderlyLooking for financial assistance for such elderly lady in a wheelchair as of Brevard County, Florida, to remodel the bathroom?

Need to remodel her bathroom, bath exchange walkin shower room and enlarge the gate itself, install less convenient to facilitate the transfer of the chair, handrails, shower seat. She lives in Brevard County, Florida, and is probably more than 55 60. We saved time and labor for many other projects, but does not have funds available for that. Work will still be given. It definitely works already discussed with a walker and will soon be confined to a chair.

How wonderful that the number of volunteers to do the work!

I'll try this first:
Call the Senior Resource Alliance / Senior Help Line,
or dial 2-1-1 or call 321-632-6688.

These people should be able to direct you to sources of assistance.

If not, try calling
State Center on Disabilities
1-877-ADA-4YOU

You're welcome! I wonder if you have succeeded! Flag

Call your agency on aging program. 1-800-510-2020. They may not be able to do so because it is on the lower end of the age scale, but they have some guidance. Sometimes these references include the replacement cost for the games.

Here is an easy solution for the shower seat. Some of these seats can be quite expensive and an option of lower production is a resin lawn chair in the shower. Of course, for someone who is disabled, it should already be applied on the shower floor to keep the person from sliding, they will keep the chair from sliding too. This may or may not work for that person, it depends on whether or not she will be able to lift the siege.

I also agree, if the Agency on Aging, or another government entity can not help it, try the Rotary Club, Elks Club or the Optimist Club. They may have a way to help.

You can call the county. They will put you in touch with groups like the Elks, Moose Lodge, etc. who will come and do this day for her.

Contact the Council on Aging in your area. They may directly or help you with this opportunity venture.Good.

My daughter is a worker in another
State, but Ive heard of this situation
its front
Call some places furniture bathroom ... talk to
owners, they could deduct as a donation.
Also, check with places like the Army Hi,
Seniors social organizations, places reintegration,
they might be able to refer you. Also the department
social services could pay her for these
things. Good luck and God bless

In addition to the organizations listed above, you can try to contact Habitat for Humanity and the council of disabled people in your area to help resolve these issues. The Board of disability can also install ramps to facilitate access ramps for wheelchairs.
