INTRODUCTION
Albert Lyon, while concluding the introductory page of his book on the history of medicine wrote, "For false doctrines that we do in the twentieth century continue to cling? If we knew with certainty that they were wrong, we throw them. Instead, we seek and wait and hope. (2) Although this question was made by scientists of the twentieth century, it still applies to us today. A capital example of a false doctrine today may be the HIV / AIDS hypothesis.
Since its birth during the press conference in Washington DC April 23, 1984, (2) the assumption has been published in books, taught in schools, media support and praised in international bodies (17 , 18). Tons of dollars have been and are still spent on HIV / AIDS (12,16). However, no treatment or vaccine against the disease has been developed. One wonders why scientists are still clinging tenaciously to this hypothesis. Whether for their own selfish interests and personal gain (1, 4) or because they are really ignorant of the true pathogenesis of AIDS remains a mystery.
It is important that the mechanism of T-helper for the impoverishment of AIDS is scrutinized by the scientific rational and alternative hypotheses about the disease (rather than HIV / AIDS hypothesis) be encouraged in the interests of millions ( 7) the causative agent habouring, those who have the AIDS virus and of all humanity.
A hypothesis on the mechanism of helper T cells depletion is presented here, looking at the controversy surrounding the popular against HIV / AIDS hypothesis.
Hypothesis.
Since HIV has never been isolated, following internationally accepted procedures for the isolation of retroviruses and the proteins do particles / glycoproteins have been isolated (13,14,15) This might be fragments of substances secreted the causative agent of AIDS itself, whatever it may be. These substances which the author will call Lymphocyte Weakening (LWF) when secreted, bind to the surface of T helper cells, making them "weak" and "confused." This activates a cascade of confusion about the whole immune system.
It should be noted that in the presence of an antigen, helper T cells trigger an immune response, mediation of effector responses of antigen-specific and regulate the activity of white blood cells (cytotoxic T cells, natural killer cells , suppressor T cells, macrophages, etc.) by secreting soluble substances (cytokines and interleukins) (8).
When linking the LWF to the cell membrane of helper T cells of a cell, they alter the proteins, lipids and carbohydrates in it. The helper T then sends confusing signals to B cells that secrete their turn "antibodies useless" against the LWF and not to attack the agency / agent. Thus, the causative agent of AIDS is free, generating over LWF 's and the cycle of events continues. Other immune cells are mixed together, produce an ineffective immune response.
Because of their short life span, impaired T helper cells decrease in number and are eventually depleted, leading to immune deficiency and symptoms of AIDS. RNA viruses also invade a very small number of helper T cells susceptible to weakened their replication, with little or no.
