Artificial Tears

I suffer from chronic dry eye. I have been using refresh tears for weeks. Just now I put in artificial tears sustane since I failed to refresh and decided to change the brand. Now, my eye seems more angry than ever when I put in and it seems sustane look bloody and swollen on the inner corner of the eye. Is it due to the change of brand and chemical artificial tears?

Systane is a very good drug, you may have an allergy to the conservation or have a condition of the cornea.

That does not sound well. I have never used Systane but I've never had any problems switching brands as Visine or Murine then update. Maybe something in your eyes Systane was irritated.
