Armrest Covers

Armrest Coverslazyboy reclining cloth armrests for more?

We have inherited a small beige cloth covered (sort of rough tweed grille cross stitch) Lazyboy recliner brand - its still in very good condition - it came with 3 pieces of tissue matching fabric - one piece is shaped rectangle about 9 "x 13" (color matching fabric / model) and the other 2 are very long thin pieces matching cloth measuring about 2 1 / 2 "wide by 20" long - 2 pieces of these ads are the corresponding cut to the top of the armrest to use as cover - but my question is - what are we to do with these pieces of cloth to put on the chair safely? Were this the intent to take a fabric store and have made them in blankets somehow? You do not know why Lazyboy provided these pieces of fabric with no way to attach - The headrest piece I suppose we could use these small pins winding spiral / to keep it on (not the best way join it) - the arm pieces I'm totally confused though - I put them on top of the armrests and they fit well, but they are just laying there and fall from the arm to hit - Do 's matter what fabric or furniture people there know what was originally planned for these three additional pieces of tissue matching chair? Thank you!

I think you're right. The rooms were more intended to be used for arms. It was probably intended to have attached to these pins Twist spiral you mentioned. The only other way I think you can reach them without pins can be Velcro? As part of 9 x 13, I can not help but wonder if it was not intended to be used as a headrest? I've seen people put a piece of cloth on their head restraints before I do not know if it was an individual choice or, if this was the original intention. Again, it would either need to be pinned or held in place with Velcro, perhaps.

I would use the pins on the spiral arms and headrest parts. They should work correctly.

Good question. I've seen this before, and note that people generally use these little screws in the supports padding. I do not feel they work very long. I think I would use the two-lane strip of carpet that is sticky on both sides and less likely to fall easily. The idea of having a chair cover is good because it helps keep weapons clean from oils and dirt and easy to wash and clean without any chair or sofa. I bought towels in color matching and seals up this way because it saves the arms were worn and stained.
I think it would be nice if the manufacture of furniture suggests ways to fix them up and offer hints. Hopefully this could be useful for you.
