Absolutely. Commercial Code requires the bar to 33 "- 36" above the ground, and a minimum of 36 "behind the toilet and 42" on the side of the toilet. They must withstand a lateral load of 200 lbs. There are also codes for grab bars in the shower or bath, but always pre-installed in the unit, so I'm not on the sire specs. Hope this helps.
